MANILA, Philippines — Now that the BIR has finally released the compliance guidelines of the CREATE Law based on a series of BIR memo circulars starting April 2021, it is time to get down to the nitty-gritty to understand the fine print.
The Center for Global Best Practices will hold an online training titled, “Compliance and Interpretation of the CREATE Law and its IRR” on May 26 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. via Zoom.
The program is designed to eliminate any confusion on how to apply the benefits of the new law to businesses with clear explanations on the proper interpretation of the compliance guidelines from the BIR on Corporate Income Tax, VAT, creditable withholding tax, performance-based enhanced deductions, incentives for relocation outside NCR, and many more.
Discussion will also cover fiscal relief packages, tax reform incentives, and exemptions that the government is giving to small, medium and large enterprises, and how these will benefit an organization.
Participants who will attend the training will find it very useful for themselves and their businesses.
This webinar will feature former BIR commissioner Joel Tan-Torres. He held many positions in government and the private sector including the chairmanship of the Board of Accountancy, a partner in SGV and at Reyes Tacandong & Co. Presently, he is the dean of the University of the Philippines’ Virata School of Business.
