Empire East Land Holdings Inc. continues to advance the development of its flagship township, Empire East Highland City in Pasig-Cainta area, as it builds a master-planned residential community designed to integrate modern infrastructure, sustainable living, and long-term urban growth.
During its online Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on June 9, 2026, Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu said the township reflects the Company’s long-term vision of creating connected and future-ready communities.
“Our flagship township, Empire East Highland City, continues to take shape, with construction of its initial residential towers progressing in full swing,” Yu said.
He added that major infrastructure components have already been completed within the development, including a network of 4-lane and 6-lane roads designed to enhance internal mobility and connectivity across the estate. The township is also equipped with solar-powered street lighting, supporting more sustainable and energy-efficient community operations.
Empire East said these infrastructure elements are part of its broader approach to township development, where residential, environmental, and mobility systems are planned in an integrated manner to support long-term livability.
In line with its sustainability initiatives, the Company also reported the ongoing development of the Highland Forest within the township, where employee volunteers have planted native tree seedlings across multiple phases of the 1.36-hectare green space. The initiative is intended to reinforce the integration of natural environments within urban residential developments.
The Company emphasized that Empire East Highland City is designed not only as a residential project, but as a long-term community ecosystem that evolves with the needs of its residents, combining housing, infrastructure, and green spaces within a single master-planned environment.
As construction progresses, Empire East said it remains focused on disciplined execution, ensuring that infrastructure and residential components advance in parallel to support future community growth and occupancy.
“The market is becoming more selective. So are we,” Yu said. “We will continue to build where demand is real, operate with prudence and discipline, and deliver on our commitments.”
