Chan-Toei Properties Inc. (CTP) is set to develop a new residential community within Ayala Land Inc.’s (ALI) Nuvali estate in Laguna, expanding its presence in one of Southern Luzon’s largest master-planned developments.

The project will add to Nuvali’s growing residential portfolio as the estate continues to attract developers catering to families looking for homes within an integrated community.

CTP will take charge of the planning, design, development and marketing of the new neighborhood. ALI, meanwhile, will continue to oversee the long-term planning, stewardship and sustainability of Nuvali.

“We are pleased to welcome Chan-Toei Properties as one of the select residential developers in Nuvali,” ALI president and chief executive Anna Ma. Margarita Dy said.

Dy said CTP’s approach to residential development fits Nuvali’s long-term vision of creating communities that integrate homes with the estate’s natural surroundings.

The new community will be within walking distance of CTP’s flagship project, Hana Garden Villas, where the developer has introduced Japanese-inspired residential designs.

CTP said the strong market reception of Hana Garden Villas, with most sales coming from end-users rather than investors, showed demand for homes intended for long-term ownership and family living.

“We are deeply honored by the opportunity to become part of Nuvali’s continuing story,” CTP chairman Jose Mari Chan said.

“At Chan-Toei Properties, we believe a home should enrich everyday life. We look forward to creating a community that reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and places where families can build meaningful lives for generations,” Chan said.

The new development will give future residents access to Nuvali’s network of educational institutions, health-care facilities, retail destinations and recreational parks.

CTP is a joint venture between the Chan family, whose businesses include sugar manufacturing, trading and power cogeneration, and TOEI, a subsidiary of IIDA Group Holdings, Japan’s largest homebuilder by number of homes built annually.
