DMCI Homes, the Consunji Group’s residential arm, is set to launch its latest leisure development, an eco-agri mountain resort condotel in the town of Tuba, Benguet, following the success of its first leisure property, in San Juan, Batangas.
In a statement, the firm said Tuba is an ideal location for DMCI Homes’ next venture into the leisure property market as it is positioned as a gateway to tranquil mountain living since it has a unique blend of natural beauty and accessibility.
The subsidiary of DMCI Holdings Inc. is eyeing the launch of its second property under the sub-brand DMCI Homes Leisure Residences by the second quarter of 2024, hoping to replicate the success of Solmera Coast in San Juan, Batangas.
DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development Dennis Yap expressed his optimism for the company’s upcoming project, citing Tuba’s emerging popularity as a tourist destination.
Notably, Tuba, a first-class municipality, serves as a gateway to Baguio City and is renowned for its cool weather, captivating landscapes, and thriving eco-agri ventures.
As the first municipality accessible via Marcos Highway on the way to Baguio, Tuba offers travelers a less congested alternative in contrast to the bustling thoroughfares of its neighboring city.
This makes it attractive for people looking to invest or have a relaxing getaway. Tuba is accessible via the Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT) Outer Ring Circumferential Road that allows motorists to bypass the busy streets of Baguio.
“Being conveniently located near Baguio City, Tuba is fast becoming a favorite among travelers for its equally cool weather and captivating mountain landscapes. The possibilities for eco-agri ventures are also promising,” Yap said.
He added that, Tuba’s inclusion in the BLISTT Metroplanning Concept, which aims to alleviate congestion and promote sustainable development across the region, further underscores its potential for growth and development.
Tuba stands to benefit from increased investment and infrastructure, positioning it as a prime location for discerning investors.
DMCI Homes aims to build on Tuba’s potential to develop an eco-agri mountain resort condotel in Tuba that goes beyond mere accommodation.
Yap said DMCI Homes seeks to embrace the natural beauty of the region while integrating modern comforts seamlessly in the upcoming development.
“With our seasoned in-house architects and engineers, we aim to create a condotel that embodies the essence of a true mountain resort by integrating the natural terrain with modern Filipino architecture,” Yap said.
Launched in August 2023, DMCI Homes’ first leisure project captured the interest of investors and beach enthusiasts alike, being the only tropical Asian-inspired beach park condotel in San Juan, Batangas.
With its unspoiled beachfront location, Solmera Coast offers a rewarding investment opportunity and a tranquil haven for leisure and pleasure.
The property boasts a range of amenities, including a pool complex, game area, gym, restaurants, and a convention center spread over a land area spanning 7.5 hectares.
