Federal Land Inc., a subsidiary of the Ty family’s GT Capital Holdings Inc., is opening the first Mitsukoshi mall in the Philippines by the end of this year.
In a statement, Federal Land said Mitsukoshi BGC, which is located in its Grand Central Park community in Bonifacio Global City, will offer food, apparel, and cosmetics from Japan.
The four-level mall brings to the country premium commercial spaces that showcase Japanese design elements and features approximately 120 merchants of premium retail stores rich in Japanese culture and style.
Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, it will have four themed floors namely Tasty Life, Beautiful Life, Inspired Life, and Entertainment Life.
Tasty Life will bring Japanese-inspired culinary offerings on Basement 1. There will be an upscale Supermarket, Mitsukoshi Fresh, which features fresh produce and imported delicacies. The basement level will also have a food court and a sweets and deli corner.
For a more Beautiful Lifestyle, guests can find a beauty store, Mitsukosi Beauty, on the Ground Floor featuring natural and organic cosmetic brands, as well as fashion apparel and lifestyle products.
Guests will be treated to an open salon where they can get beauty salon service with meticulous technique using featured products.
Inspired Life highlights the vibrant Japanese culinary scene with a number of Japanese dining options and a selection of international food choices located on the Second Floor. It will also feature a Japanese bookstore.
Lastly, Entertainment Life will offer unique Japanese entertainment options that are perfect for all ages.
Mitsukoshi BGC will anchor residential development, The Seasons Residences, an upscale Japanese-inspired condominium project by Federal Land in partnership with Japan’s leading firms Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd.
The Seasons Residences is a seamless fusion of Japanese tradition of innovation and artistry with the Filipino sense of community.
