MANILA, Philippines — Ty-owned Federal Land Inc. will soon complete the development of The Seasons Residences in Bonifacio Global City.
The property unit of GT Capital Holdings Inc. has topped off the second tower of The Seasons, its upscale residential development in BGC, which is a partnership with Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. and Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd.
The event marks the structural completion of the second tower of the development, which is part of Federal Land’s commitment to bringing a piece of Japan in BGC.
The Seasons Residences is a Japanese-inspired mixed-use development that marries Japanese tradition of innovation and excellence with Filipino sense of community.
The high-rise residences will have four towers of upscale homes and curated amenities.
Part of the development is the first Mitsukoshi mall in the country.
To be located at the podium level of The Seasons Residences, Mitsukoshi Mall will anchor Japanese giants in clothing and apparel, beauty and cosmetics and other unique retail concepts.
The mall will have a wide range of merchant selections ranging from designer labels to famous Japanese brands, as well as other brands. There will also be both luxury cosmetic brands, and also affordable Japanese cosmetic products.
Federal Land said the first Mitsukoshi mall in the Philippines would expand the retail portfolio of Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd., a top retail service group in Japan.
Mitsukoshi was founded in 1673 while Isetan was founded in 1886 before they merged in 2008.
The project will be the first in the Philippines to realize a “Japan Concept,” which at the same time will be affordable and fit the taste of Filipino consumers.
The Seasons Residences is part of Grand Central Park, Federal Land’s master planned community in Bonifacio Global City.
Federal Land has also partnered with Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd for a newly and bigger joint venture, Federal Land NRE Global Inc. or FNG, which also marks the next chapter of Federal Land as it celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
FNG will introduce to the Philippine market townships with sustainable growth, starting with an initial project in four areas in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Cebu.
