Cavite’s first CBD is fast taking shape

For businesses that have established their presence in the country’s capital, expanding to new strategic locations outside Metro Manila is the next step they should consider for further growth. 

As ongoing and planned infrastructure projects are set to further improve accessibility in some provinces, especially those in the south of Metro Manila, opportunities to generate economic activity are expected to rise, which will drive the potential for these areas to become future business hubs.



Being the nearest province to Metro Manila, Cavite is one province expected to benefit from various infrastructure projects in the pipeline. This makes the province a very lucrative destination for companies looking to expand outside of Metro Manila.

Fortunately, interested businesses have to look no further as a property giant Megaworld Corp.’s Central Business District in Cavite is taking shape.

Located in General Trias, Cavite, the 140-hectare Maple Grove is a modern, eco-friendly township that hosts a unique mix of defined commercial, residential, and office developments.

Megaworld said about 10 commercial lots will be available per hectare at the Commercial District, with each lot ranging in size from 360 square meters (sqm) to 1,008 sqm.



Staying true to its promise of being a green city, the walkable commercial district will also exude features of an environmentally-friendly city as it is surrounded by green and open parks, including the Central Park to be located at the heart of the district.

In addition, it will also feature a two-hectare rainwater park, bike lanes, and other recreational facilities.

Megaworld is already making progress towards the construction of the commercial business district as the main roads going to it are already paved.

The business district is easily accessible via the Coastal Road and CAVITEX, with an estimated travel time of about 30-45 minutes from Makati CBD, Fort Bonifacio, and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
