The Philippine Constructors Association (PCA) is ramping up its efforts to equip young professionals and students with skills needed to future-proof the industry.
Through a series of webinars and training programs, the 75-year-old non-profit organization is bent on guiding the next generation of nation-builders to the right path – as they start their respective careers in the construction industry.
The 1,500-strong PCA is offering an internationally-assured Construction Supervisors Training Program nationwide, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
It also recently completed the introduction to FIDIC for Contractors, in partnership with the International Federation of Consulting Engineers.
To further empower Filipino contractors, it is offering a Masterclass Certificate on Quantity Surveying.
“We cannot just build, we have to build better and in order to do that, we need to have a more skilled workforce and Filipino construction firms that can compete globally with international firms,” explained Anthony Mariano, program director of PCA (Shown in photo)).
