Villar Group to vaccinate employees

The Villar Group on Monday said it would inoculate its employees nationwide and introduced its group-wide vaccination program, VHealthy.

The group said the vaccination program includes the conduct of an information campaign through webinars on safety protocols and the importance of getting vaccinated, led by speakers from relevant organizations and health experts.

“Ensuring the health and safety of our employees is our top priority. The vaccine will not only help build immunity from the virus, but will also help boost consumer confidence to go out again. Hence, the vaccine will not only save lives but jobs and businesses, as well,” Villar Group Chairman Manny Villar was quoted as saying in a statement.

The group added that it has ordered vaccines for its existing workforce and is finalizing the process to allow employees to access vaccines for their families and their household.

“We are committed to inform and to engage our employees on the benefits of the vaccine and to create a healthy and safe workplace for them and our clients,” Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Paolo Villar said.

The businesses of Villar Group currently operate in 49 provinces and 147 cities and municipalities across the country.
