PropertyGuru Group is now accepting entries for the best, most innovative, and most eco-friendly real estate projects at the upcoming 9th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards slated by end-2021.
PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards managing director Jules Kay said the annual award platform seeks to reach and recognize the efforts pooled in by the different real estate and property firms in keeping the infrastructure and construction sector active in the midst of the pandemic and rolling lockdowns.
“We will continue to recognize and award an ever more increasingly diverse range of developments, designs, and companies around the Philippines that’s helped us build an unparalleled reputation for quality and also to compete on a regional stage,” he said in a virtual pre-event briefing. “Now in 2020, the world and the region faced many challenges. But the Philippines property awards continued to go from strength to strength for several new innovative concepts introduced,”
Reaching further
Last year, the property portal tried reaching out further beyond the region and touching more than just developers but also reaching agents and consumers, to help them make informed decisions as they look to invest properties in the Philippines.
“We also offer networking opportunities for our developers to connect not only within the Philippines, but also around the region with their peers in the real estate industry,” said Kay. We increasingly reach investors and consumers with the awards to give them guidance on which properties are the best to look at, what factors to consider when investing in property, and who are the leading developers in the region. All this comes together to give us a benchmark for quality. It also gives developers chance to recognize their achievements, and to celebrate their success on an annual basis.”
Philippine real estate firms and property developers are encouraged to showcase their latest developments, achievements and innovations in the latest Philippine edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series, the widely respected and trusted regional platform celebrated for upholding the real estate industry’s “Gold Standard”.
Open categories for the 2021 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards include recognition for the best Developer, Development, and Design, along with the Special Recognition for Public Facility. New categories include the titles of Best Developer (Luzon), Best Developer (Mindanao), and Best Developer (Visayas), recognizing the most exemplary companies in the island groups.
Investment assets on tap
The latest edition of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards will also recognize developers with the finest collection of investment assets. They include the titles of Best Office Portfolio, Best Industrial Portfolio, Best Hospitality Portfolio and Best Retail Portfolio.
Movement restrictions has limited the upcoming event to a virtual gala awards night scheduled on the 11th of November 2021. Organizers will observe proper protocols in accordance with health and safety standards in the Philippines.
“The winners go on to represent the Philippines at regional level at the Asia Property Awards Grand Final. The grand final is also accompanied by Asia Real Estate Summit, which gives experts the chance to meet, discuss and share ideas on the future, and the best strategies for success in the property industry,” Kay said.
Plans for the Grand Finals involve staging the event physically from Bangkok, Thailand, with a virtual element if necessary, for those who are unable to travel or physically join the event in Bangkok.
“Best in Asia”
Philippine awardees will have a chance to go on to compete with their regional peers at the 16th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, which will elevate the region’s most outstanding developers and projects to the titles of “Best in Asia”.
The 16th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final will be hosted from Bangkok, Thailand on December 9, 2021 and preceded by the 2021 edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit, the tech and thought leadership platform of PropertyGuruGroup.
