In the north, The Residences at Commonwealth in Quezon City (shown here), the developer took into consideration the surface water runoff that might affect its neighboring villages and establishments.
For the Residences at Azure North in San Fernando, Pampanga, the entire site was backfilled by 3 to 4 meters to elevate the finish grade. An adequate drainage design was also incorporated for flood readiness.
The area of Century City, along Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City, enjoys a flood-prevention and mitigation system within the buildings which pump out water into the drainage.
At Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong, Century Properties undertook measures to prevent flooding, including building all parking areas above ground floor level.
At Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City, Century Properties worked with Barangay Marcelo Green as well as the city government in the construction of a drainage system.
For earthquakes, Century Properties follows the Philippine National Building Code, employing a team of engineers and architects. The company also uses Special Moment Resisting Frames, which allow buildings to withstand the forces caused by an earthquake.
