Arthaland unveils Sondris showroom, offers VR tours for future Makati green residences

SONDRIS, Arthaland’s premium green residential development rising along Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City, has a projected turnover in April 2030. However, interested parties can get an earlier preview of the property’s features and amenities in two ways: the pop-up experience at Arya Plaza in Bonifacio Global City, which is open until June 26; and the actual showroom, which will open 80 meters from the actual site on June 30.

The pop-up preview is one way for the developer “to make use of different technologies to showcase our properties before they are even built,” said Arthaland Marketing Strategy Lead Dana David during the media briefing on May 29.

Aside from getting a glimpse of the property’s offerings, the preview also shows how prospective buyers can customize their units. David said that this is one key differentiator from other residential developments. A buyer is encouraged to be more intentional about the look and design of his future home, instead of just accepting a template.

“When we engage with our home buyers, we want the homes to be as personal and fit with who the buyers are as much as possible,” said David.

Sondris’ 37-story tower presents 252 crafted residences, each designed to maximize natural light, ventilation and comfort. It features a low-density layout of 6 to 10 units per floor. Prospective homeowners may choose from four unit types ranging from 46–61 sqm one-bedroom units, 91–114 sqm two-bedroom units, 135–137 sqm three-bedroom units, and the expansive garden units that are 180–230 sqm in size.

The preview has a scale model of the typical two-bedroom unit, which, according to the design, opens up to very expansive living, dining and kitchen areas. It intends to show that the two-bedroom unit is spacious enough to create another room. David maintained that the layout is “flexible … it’s big enough for you to transform what the area will be like for you. You can integrate a bigger dining or entertainment area. Or you can convert one room into a walk-in closet or an office.”

Through the LED floor room experience, guests can move beyond conventional mock-ups and feel the actual dimensions of a Sondris unit. A virtual reality booth helps them “step inside Sondris” using VR technology, exploring the units as though they were already built, and offering a realistic perspective of movement and spatial flow within the development.

To help them customize their units, homeowners have a choice of three interior design options that will allow them to express their individual style: Timeless and Transitional that uses layered neutrals, natural textures, and soft lighting to create visual continuity; Modern and Industrial, which has a clean, contemporary and city-inspired aesthetic; and Formal and Serene, which embraces darker tones to create a grounded, deeply comfortable environment.
