More families receive homes in Lipa under Expanded 4PH

More than 20 families in Lipa City, Batangas, recently received the keys to their new homes through a partnership among P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation (P.A. Properties), the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), and Pag-IBIG Fund under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The housing turnover ceremony and project inspection were held at Nuvista Homes Lipa, highlighting ongoing efforts to expand access to affordable homeownership and help address the country’s housing backlog.

Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta, P.A. Properties Vice Chairman Jonathan G. Lu, P.A. Properties Chairman Romarico T. Alvarez, DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling, P.A. Properties President and CEO Atty. Marianne Reyna Lina-Cruz, P.A. Properties Director Peter Jude T. Alvarez, and DHSUD officials led the ceremonial opening of the Solida Model House at Nuvista Homes Lipa

Leading the event were DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling, Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene B. Acosta, P.A. Properties Chairman Romarico T. Alvarez, and P.A. Properties President and CEO Atty. Marianne Reyna Lina-Cruz.

Officials also inspected completed housing units within the development, including the Solida and Marya house models, which qualify for the subsidized interest rate offered under the Expanded 4PH Program.
The turnover underscored the role of public-private partnerships in delivering housing opportunities to Filipino families. For beneficiaries, receiving a home marked the beginning of a more secure and stable chapter, supported by government and private-sector collaboration.

“Today’s turnover is a testament to what can be achieved when government institutions and the private sector work together toward a common purpose. It reflects our shared commitment to addressing the housing needs of our people and contributing to the national goal of providing decent, affordable, and resilient housing for every Filipino family,” said Alvarez.

He also reiterated the company’s support for the government’s housing initiatives.

“P.A. Properties stands firmly alongside the government in this mission. We reaffirm our support and our readiness to be a partner of the government in advancing the country’s housing programs for the benefit of every Filipino,” he added.

As one of the country’s mass housing developers, P.A. Properties continues to build affordable communities across the Philippines in support of national housing programs. The latest turnover at Nuvista Homes Lipa marks another step toward expanding homeownership opportunities while helping bridge the housing gap.

The government delegation also visited the nearby Idesia residential development, where homes priced from P3.5 million to P7 million are now eligible for Pag-IBIG Housing Loan financing following the increase in the fund’s maximum loanable amount to P10 million per member.
