SM Investments Corporation (SM Investments), one of the leading conglomerates in the Philippines, has bagged three major wins at the 13th Asian Excellence Award of Corporate Governance Asia.
In a statement, the firm said the awards conferred by the Hong Kong-based magazine were: Asia’s Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Best Corporate Communication, and Best Investor Relations Company.
“This recognition is truly an honor for us. We firmly believe that by upholding the highest standards of governance, we can consistently deliver on our mission of better serving our communities,” said SM Investments President and CEO Frederic C. DyBuncio.
This year’s awards add to SM’s longstanding history of winning in the categories of Asia’s Best Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Corporate Communications, and Best Investor Relations Company.
With these wins, SM notched its sixth, seventh, and twelfth times coming on top in these categories, respectively.
The award-giving body said the awards were in recognition of SM’s continuing commitment to the development of corporate governance in investor relations, CSR, business ethics, environmental responsibility, and Financial Performance in the region.
