AllHome Corp., the Philippines’ pioneering one-stop full line home center, has opened its newest location in Vista Mall Davao, bringing the retailer’s nationwide store network count to 58 locations.
“We are excited to open an additional AllHome location in a rising urban location in Davao City,” said AllHome Chairman Manuel B. Villar, Jr. in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Villar said the newest branch is a “demonstration of capability to leverage our synergies with the Villar Group’s housing arm as well as the AllValue retail ecosystem—as can be seen in our location in an established community through our existing Vista Land communities in the area, as well as the newest AllValue offering housed in Vista Mall Davao.”
He also expressed confidence that the plan to have a total of 100 stores by 2026 can be achieved.
“We are confident that this is achievable, given the Villar Group’s nationwide presence with ready captive market as initial customer base,” he said.
Villar noted that, “The new AllHome in Davao City is a statement store, one that reiterates our optimism in achieving our 100-store milestone by 2026.”
AllHome aims to expand further in NCR+ and Tier 1 cities across the country. Other than Davao, identified locations in the immediate pipeline are located in Caloocan; Las Pinas; Muntinlupa; Bulacan; Dasmarinas, GMA and Trece Martires in Cavite; and Cebu.
AllHome Vice Chairman Camille Villar said the new AllHome stores are the full display of the retailer’s capability to adapt and innovate on store efficiencies.
“We are excited to expand the AllHome brand, especially in a highly-coveted location like Davao City. Our 58th branch is a demonstration of our new-generation large format stores, one that maintains our brand of an elevated and comprehensive home shopping experience in terms of customer-facing touchpoints but also allows for increased efficiencies towards storage and product displays,” she said.
She added that, “This new format also allows us to improve on our e-commerce fulfillment capabilities—one that I am sure our newest customers in Davao will come to appreciate and enjoy.”
AllHome is set to add a minimum of eight new locations in 2022, all featuring a “new-generation” blueprint: an optimized store footprint of 7,000 to 8,000 net selling area that requires lower capital expenditure.
Meanwhile, AllHome President and Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Therese Serrano expressed optimism in AllHome’s 2022 strategies, leveraging them against downgraded government restrictions.
With the country predominantly under Alert Level 1, movement restrictions have been eased in many areas in the country.
“Our government continues to keep a brisk pace in downgrading restrictions towards a more normal, open economic scenario. Increasing store transaction counts, especially as reflected in the later periods of our FY 2021 results are reflective of customers returning to our physical stores. We remain confident in the strategies we have in place to achieve our 100-store milestone in 2026,” said Serrano.
She added that, “Locally, we are also very excited to introduce an elevated home shopping experience to the increasingly premiumized tastes of Davao City residents.”
Serrano noted that the harnessing of synergies between and among the Villar Group of companies will continue to unlock broader revenue potentials for AllHome.
