Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is preparing to unveil the expansion of its Robinsons Place Antipolo, an urban lifestyle destination, as retail consumption makes steady progress towards recovery.
Slated for opening in May this year, the expansion of Robinsons Place Antipolo will increase the mall’s total gross floor area by about 40 percent, RLC said in a statement.
“Over the past several years, we have witnessed how Antipolo and the surrounding towns have grown impressively,” said RLC Senior Vice President & General Manager for Robinsons Malls Arlene Magtibay.
She added that, “Progress is very evident from the level of commercial activity and the ever-growing number of residential communities. Our expansion mall is being developed with this young and upwardly mobile market in mind.”
With its cooler climate and proximity to Metro Manila, Antipolo City has become one of the most popular go-to-places for quick getaways as it is also home to various convention centers, retreat houses, and hotels and resorts.
“We are opening the expansion mall in the summer which is when a lot of people visit Antipolo. We are excited to welcome our shoppers to this new wing that will surely make their malling experience at Robinsons Place Antipolo even more delightful,” said Magtibay.
The expansion will feature an mix of international and local retail shops, a diverse set of casual and fine dining establishments, and other new amenities such as wellness and health clinics, courier services, pet grooming, as well as select government agencies.
Robinsons Movieworld, kids’ amusement centers, and hobby shops will also open to offer a complete and elevated lifestyle experience.
“The new wing will provide our customers an experience that goes beyond traditional shopping. It will address their desire for more global fashion brands as well as elevate their dining experience with must-try restaurants,” noted Magtibay.
Strategically located along Sumulong Highway, Robinsons Place Antipolo is a short ride from iconic landmarks, such as the National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, Hinulugang Taktak, and Ynares Center.
The mall is also conveniently situated along public transport routes to and from various points of Metro Manila.
