You Need to Visit This Restaurant in a Beautiful Heritage House in Taguig

Here’s a new place to go to on weekends!

Are you looking for places to visit during your leisure time? While there are many options in Rizal, Laguna, Tagaytay, and Pampanga, you don’t always have to go outside Metro Manila for aesthetic and relaxing places that serve good food. In Taguig, there you can find the newly-opened gorgeous La Luna Cafe.

According to Taguigeo, La Luna Café opened its doors during the 123rd Independence Day (That’s June 12, 2021). La Luna Café is located inside a modern heritage house that company Bayani Gourmet turned into a bakery-restaurant-café.

If you’re looking for an alfresco dining area, La Luna Café has tons of space! It has patios and wooden benches under the shade courtesy of the trees that surround you. You can definitely picture Happy Hours and intimate dinner dates here.

If you’re more comfortable dining inside the establishment, it also has cozy nooks paved with concrete and bricks, under warmer lighting fixtures. This is a better seating option if it’s too hot and humid outside.

This bakery offers not just the panaderia classics but also other Filipino and Western dishes, too! It has a wide selection of breakfast meals — silog meals included, appetizers, soups, vegetables, main dishes, desserts, and of course, elevated panaderia classics. For refreshments, La Luna serves coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices, fruit shakes, milkshakes, and soda.

Here are some of their bestsellers: when it comes to Western dishes, go for the Steak Frites (P600) and the Baby Back Ribs (P850/half rack and P1,700/full rack). As for the best Filipino main dishes, you have to try the Grilled Pork Belly Sinigang (P500) and Pinaupong Manok (P460).

If you’re feeling adventurous, you also have to try La Luna Cafe’s Taguig Specialties specifically the Kalderetang Itik (P450), Adobong Itik (P450), Lutong Itik (P300), and Fried Itik (P800).

When it comes to its freshly baked bread, La Luna Café’s bestsellers include the Ensaimada (P75) and the stuffed pandesal. They have Premium Corned Beef Pandesal (P90), Premium Tapa Pandesal (P100), Premium Spanish Sardines Pandesal (P160), Premium Sisig Pandesal (P50), Premium Pastel Pandesal (P60).

Although the stuffed pandesals are a little pricier than usual, you should try the regular versions if you’re curious enough but on a tighter budget. La Luna Café has these to offer too: the Corned Beef Pandesal (P30), Tapa Pandesal (P35), Spanish Sardines Pandesal (P55), Sisig Pandesal (P25), and Pastel Pandesal (P25).

La Luna Café is open every day from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. (9:30 p.m. for last orders!). They are located at 103 M. L. Quezon Avenue, Hagonoy, Taguig.
