DMCI Homes is broadening its presence in the hospitality sector with the upcoming opening of Solmera Beach Park Resort, a beachfront development in San Juan, Batangas that combines leisure facilities with venues for business and social events.
Set within the company’s 7.5-hectare Solmera Coast estate, the resort is scheduled to open in February 2027. The project reflects growing demand for destinations that cater not only to vacationers but also to corporate gatherings, celebrations and group travel.
Located along San Juan’s coastline, the resort benefits from the municipality’s growing popularity as a weekend destination for travelers from Metro Manila. Improved road connectivity and increasing domestic tourism have helped position the area as an emerging hub for beach vacations, eco-tourism and events.

Designed as an integrated beachfront estate, Solmera Beach Park Resort features landscaped open spaces, lounge areas and recreational facilities that encourage guests to enjoy both active pursuits and quiet relaxation within a coastal setting.
One destination
As leisure destination, Solmera Beach Park Resort offers elevated amenities against the backdrop of sparkling sea views and panoramic mountain horizons. These include a 4,000-square-meter pool complex with lap and kiddie pools, complemented by a pool pavilion for families and groups and a sky deck pool and sky promenade.
The resort will also feature a variety of dining options, ranging from an all-day restaurant serving local and international cuisine to specialty dining concepts, a lobby bar, snack bar and food kiosks spread across the property. Spa and wellness facilities are likewise planned to complete the guest experience.

Accommodation options include studio units as well as one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites designed for leisure travelers, families and guests attending events.
Meetings, incentives, conferences and celebrations form another key component of the development. Several function rooms will be located across the estate, while a convention center with a function hall of more than 2,000 square meters and an adjoining veranda is designed to accommodate conferences, banquets and exhibitions. Additional venues, including landscaped lawns and open-air spaces, provide flexibility for weddings and outdoor gatherings.
Hospitality brand
The resort will be operated by DMCI Hospitality and Leisure Inc., the company’s newly-established hospitality arm, under the DMCI Resorts brand.

According to DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria, the company is focused on establishing the systems and operational standards needed to deliver consistent guest experiences once the property opens.
“Our immediate priority is to put the right operating systems and people in place to ensure consistent service delivery, efficient property management and reliable guest experiences,” Austria said.
With Solmera Beach Park Resort, DMCI Homes is expanding beyond residential development into destination hospitality, strengthening its presence in one of Southern Luzon’s growing tourism markets while responding to the increasing demand for integrated resort experiences that combine recreation, accommodation and events in a single location.
