Like living in two places at the same Time

Idesia Lipa offers suburb homes with city convenience

People living in the southern fringes of Metro Manila are known for their laidback lifestyle. On weekends, they can easily de-stress by driving either up to chilly Tagaytay or to the soothing shores of San Juan, Batangas’ beaches.

Imagine the fun of reaching either place—or even Alabang—from your home in less than an hour. Technically, that means visualizing yourself in the strategically located suburban city like Lipa in Batangas, which sits close to life’s conveniences in the South.

Laguna-hailed real estate company P.A. Properties understands this all too well. At the recent launch of Idesia Lipa, the company’s third major project with Japanese partner, Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp. (Hankyu), P.A. Properties chairman Romarico “Bing” Alvarez said there is now a growing number of homebuyers looking for residential projects that take into consideration the presence of breathing spaces, abundant natural light, access to nature, and “productivity at home”—qualities captured by Idesia Lipa.

Jonathan Lu, the company president, added, “We would like residents to appreciate nature more and breathe fresh air. At the same time, should they decide to work from home or connect with their friends and relatives, there is a strong infrastructure that would link them to the rest of the Philippines. This community also has a strong transport link should they decide to go out and explore more of the countryside and its interesting destinations.”

Idesia Lipa is just a few minutes away from major administrative, medical, business, agro-industrial, and cultural centers in Batangas, Laguna and the southern part of Cavite. Future residents needing to go to Metro Manila have the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway that connects Lipa City to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Skyway.

Being close to both the countryside and the city has also grown importance during the quarantine period, just as much as having a decent home becoming a topmost concern.

“Homes have always been the foundation of our lives but suddenly their importance has been magnified as they have become not only a sanctuary to stay safe from the pandemic—but are now taking a new role as our workplace, gym, church, restaurant, theater, and in the case of our children, school,” says Alvarez.

Idesia Lipa follows the success of Idesia in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The Batangas project is set to offer 747 residential units of single detached, single attached bungalows and townhouses, which will be completed by the last quarter of 2023.

The development boasts of premium amenities, including the Serenity, Togetherness and Wellness zones.

Surrounded by balayong or Palawan cherry blossoms, the Serenity Zone will feature a sakura garden with gazebos, reading and meditation garden and a lagoon.

The Wellness Zone will offer a basketball court, tennis courts, children’s playground, jogging paths and a pet park, welcoming a post-Covid-19 community that’s focused on health and wellness.

Finally, the Togetherness Zone will have The Pavilion (clubhouse) with a swimming pool, kiddie pool, indoor fitness area (gym), and an amphitheater.

With a home suiting every homebuyer’s preference, requirement and financial capability, Idesia Lipa features Aria Regular, a townhouse design with a total floor area of 42 sqm on 60 sqm lot; the more premium Talia Single Attached units with a floor area of 52.25 sqm on 80 sqm lot; and the more spacious Gaia Single Detached units with 63 sqm floor area on 100 sqm lots.

“While there will always be buyers who will prefer living within the city because their jobs don’t allow for remote work, there will be other homebuyers that will be tempted away from the madding crowd, the hustle and bustle of city life,” explains Alvarez.

One silver lining found amid the pandemic is enjoying the company of one’s family in a safe home, a sanctuary. Homebuyers and home developers alike have realized what really matters—such as living in a rural setting but still having the luxury of city living.
