Single-Attached versus Single-Detached

Confused about the difference of single-attached and single detached properties?

Single-attached home shares a common party wall on both sides of the property.  Examples of these are duplex and even row houses (popularly known in the Philippines as townhouses).  One property exhibiting this type is Camella Dasma Island Park in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Single-detached home is free of any shared walls and stands alone. In the Philippine context, buyers associate the term house and lot to single-detached homes having its own gate (in some properties) and a front yard.  One property exhibiting this type is Camella Ellisande in Taguig, Mega Manila.
